When I joined RCI 15 years ago, I was recently separated, living in a new city and I knew that the singles training would help me personally as I was dating for the first time in many years. I had been working as a business coach and not sure at first if I wanted to transition to relationship coaching. As I started networking and telling my story to singles, I learned that many of the folks I met were in my situation and needed help. So, I began my relationship coaching business and quickly built a sustainable business helping singles over 40 find love.”

I love being a relationship coach because… I get to help my clients have juicy and delicious relationships that are healthy, vibrant, authentic, trusting, caring and connected. RCI training is rich with tools, learnings and skills that really work for personal evolution, for gaining clarity and direction and for lasting couple happiness. My training has also been put to good use in my own marriage, now in its 40th delicious year. My work as a relationship coach honors my personal mission and at the same time, provides me with an ample, very satisfying livelihood.

I love being a relationship coach because…relationships are the cornerstone of human existence. Without relationships we cannot survive; it’s that simple. To be in a position to help my clients move from an unhappy seemingly stuck-in-quicksand situation to a fulfilled and happy life…, well, there is no greater satisfaction. The courage I see in my clients is so inspiring. There is so much synergy in the client/coach relationship that I think everyone should learn to be a coach. I subscribe to the old Buddhist saying “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” My clients are–and always have been–my teachers. I love being a coach.

I love being a relationship coach because… I can make a difference in one of the most important areas of people’s lives and care for myself at the same time. I’ve been living with chronic illness for over a decade and being a Relationship Coach has given me the flexibility I’ve needed to work with people who live all over the world from the comfort of my home. After getting sick I didn’t know what I would do for work until I discovered I could be a Relationship Coach and use the technology we have today to help my clients. It’s been a dream career come true! Plus, in my own life, I found and married the man of my dreams. My husband, who has been a hospice Chaplain, says that what people on their deathbed care most about is who they loved and who loved them. I want my clients to know and experience deep and lasting love.

I love being a relationship coach because…of the joy and fulfillment that comes from helping singles and couples connect from a heart-centered space in a brain dominated world. Communication, listening, being heard, unconditional love, and addressing what’s not working are the strongholds in any relationship. After having been a single looking for love, finding love, and creating a blissful marriage, I love helping singles and couples find and create loving and lasting relationships.

I love being a relationship coach because… I get to be the soul mate catalyst and witness powerful breakthroughs and transformations in peoples’ lives. Women who used to lose themselves in relationships with men who didn’t respect or value them now become their own soul mate and choose differently in love and life. It humbles me to know the work I do has such an impact and I am inspired by the people I have the privilege of working with. I’ve had many different jobs, but none as rewarding as the one where I get to hear- “Maeve has made me whole again. Life is more fun and I’m more optimistic about the future.” Another great benefit of being a relationship coach? I’m in a loving relationship with my own soul mate and belong to a family of caring experts at RCI I can call upon if needed.

I love being a relationship coach because… of the positive energy transfer that occurs when I support and help maintain the essence of a marriage and a family. When my coaching helps to keep marriages and families together the positive energy transfers to the children, to their growth and development, and then to the world that they will influence as relationship functional adults. I love the transformation that occurs when my clients begin to put the pieces together. I love being a relationship coach because…I used to be a part of a church that taught dating was wrong. Seeing so many single people stay single and act like it was God’s Will was disheartening. It is empowering to help my clients realize that they can MAKE a successful relationship happen instead of waiting around hoping it will happen.

I love being a relationship coach because…as a 77 year old military vet and a three time veteran of divorce, I knew I had to make some changes. I began to study everything I could about love, sex and relationship. I have degrees in Business, Engineering and Law so I know how to study. After reading everything I could find on the subject, I found RCI and I knew I was on the right track. I’m celebrating nine years in the relationship of my dreams and my wife and I consider our love life a spiritual practice. My mission is to bring the joy and fulfillment of a great relationship to as many people as I can.

When you help a client become empowered and self-confident in their life you cannot help but jump for joy as they begin to take charge of their life and embrace the role of the chooser in their life and relationships. You cannot help but feel an amazing sense of fulfillment because you had a hand in getting them there. It’s like watching a baby bird leave the nest for the first time and seeing them soar! I cannot think of any other profession that is more fulfilling than Relationship Coaching!
